I don't think I'll ever purchase a smart appliance unless I have no choice. Worse case, ya... and the company is Chinese. I don't think they'll barge into my house and take my land... but I do think they are going to crash our financial system and wipe out most banks who don't swear allegiance to the CCP. There's no need to waste their resources on little peons like myself, when they are going to wipe me out by taking my internet down for the foreseeable future.
